The worldwide trade fair electronica 2004 will take place in Munich from 9th - 12th November. And Lohmann/Germany, manufacturer of double-sided adhesive tapes, will attend it for the first time. Together with the colleagues of Lohmann´s international subsidiaries the members of the market segment consumer goods will show their product news in hall C/1, stand 227. Among other products the improved product range of Duplobondâ, an adhesive tape range for the manufacture of membrane switches, will be presented. Over 20 years experience in the production of membrane switches led to an product range with many advantages: For example highest adhesive performance due to a balanced combination of good initial tack. As a special service to their customers Lohmann prints product name, total thickness, article and batch number on this product line. Furthermore Lohmann will demonstrate the Duplotacâ - high performance transfer adhesive tapes. The pure acrylic adhesive has been designed to provide a permanent bond even at high temperatures and it´s properties include resistance to extreme chemical exposure. They are available in three different thicknesses of 50, 100 und 125 µm. Application areas for the new transfer tapes are for example the bonding of nameplates, faceplate panels, electronic components on circuit boards and in the automotive industry, e.g. for the bonding of brake shims. As a third innovation Lohmann presents electrically and thermally conductive adhesive tape systems, which are used e.g. for electronic control units and within the automotive industry.
