Lohmann has more than 50 years technical graphics know-how  and is now a well accepted partner in the flexographic industry. This has been well demonstrated by the high market share in specialist adhesive tapes for plate mounting, which in Germany is approx. 80 per cent and in Europe approx. 30 per cent. Now this success has been confirmed in another way. Lohmann´s  subsidiary in England "Lohmann Technologies UK ", situated in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, recently attended the „European Flexographic Technical Association Ltd (EFTA) Print Awards ceremony" in March 2007. The EFTA annual awards competition recognises companies for their achievements within the flexographic industry. Prizes are awarded in special classifications e.g. for „Outstanding Technical Innovation" or for the „Best in Show" award, won by a Lohmann customer. Lohmann Technologies UK was very proud to win the „Bronze Award" in the „Supplier of the Year" category. This can be considered as an outstanding achievement when put into context against the gold and silver winner, who were keen competitors. So the British company was awarded not only for the excellent quality of their flexographic products but also for the good relationship and technical support and service to their customers.
