In the interests of safety at work, health protection and accident prevention, continuous risk monitoring and the analysis of accidents at work is conducted to reduce the level of risk even further and to increase safety.
In the case of specific, unavoidable risks at the workplace, it is determined which personal protective equipment is required in order for work to be carried out safely. Proper use of the equipment is trained extensively.

The main task of the plant fire brigade at the Neuwied site is comprehensive and preventative fire protection that takes the continuously changing framework conditions into consideration and the detection, registration and evaluation of fire hazards in all areas of the company. The specialist knowledge and equipment found there for the evaluation and reduction of fire risks represents the standard for the evaluation of fire hazards worldwide.
