Flexcor Australia Pty Limited was born on April 1991 when
Barrie Uttley and Greg Cope purchased the business from the
Comprint Group. Barrie and Greg had managed the Flexographic
Division of the Comprint Group for the 5 years previous to this
takeover and were well equipped to expand the agency side
of a company that was well known for the recondition and
manufacture of chrome anilox rollers. This situation was ideal,
as the company was well known in the corrugated box plants,
the flexible packing industry and the label industry.
Flexcor has strived for the supply of quality products and
has a reputation for being very competitive in the market place.
The main consumables are doctor blades, blankets, spare parts
and of course mounting tapes. Flexcor represents a number of
capital equipment manufacturers in both the flexible packaging
and corrugated box industry. Flexcor achieved Quality
Accreditation in 1996 and is proud of the supplies of the
industry. The company is constantly looking to expand its
opportunities with both existing agencies and new agencies.
